Hardcore!! How far out did you make it?
I almost made it out. Timed it well between sets but just as I was nearing the edge of the impact zone a huge clean-up set of three waves appeared on the horizon. I didn’t have the paddle power to beat it out and took the first one directly on the head. It was all over after that, I got dragged so far in. They were impossible to duck dive because they were hitting the sand bottom ~6ft down, even ditching the board and holding onto the bottom did nothing.
